Kincaid Motorpark in Anchorage is reported to be the biggest MX track in the state. Alaska is reported to have a lot more enduro than MX, but not as much sanctioned racing as one might expect. The problem it seems, has been the turn out. Still, there are opportunities to race, such as the Big Lake Ice Racing League (do a search or make some phone calls to get more info).
As far as free riding goes, the Kinik River Access, fairly close to Anchorage, is said to be the most popular area for riding. It's a trail network set within a glacial basin that's approximately 26 miles long and 4 miles wide.
There are also several other lesser known areas to ride. Most people choose these from local trail map books, such as "Guide to Alaska Trails".
Two hours north of Anchorage are the Eureka Roadhouse Lodge and the Kings River and Puritan Creek riding areas. Kings River is reported to only offer aggressive riding, and not one to bring your twelve year old out to for his or her first lessons.
